In this first collection, I wanted to showcase the beauty of the three places I call home in an attempt to unveil a bit more about me and where I get my inspiration from.
The Magdalen Islands (or Les Îles-de-la-Madeleine in French) is where my mom grew up and where I spent most of my summers as a child. It’s a place that really grounds me and it’s always where I go when I need a little reset. It gave me peace, wisdom and energy.
Paris, my dad’s birthplace and where I lived during my twenties when I transitioned into adulthood. I indulged in an abundant social life during my time there, but I’ve also faced some harsh realities and learned so much about the world we live in. It gave me resilience, strength and discipline.
Lastly Sydney, this city I’ve chosen to call home for 4 years now, has helped me focus on the things that matter most to me. The culture is encouraging, life seems to go slower and my creative power is at its peak. It gave me motivation, confidence and playfulness.
